Yokohama : Wow, a great discovery for 4 players, with the first edition (2016), really a lot of options, points everywhere, blocking, and still quite cerebral, my favorite of the month!
Barrage + The Leeghwater Project on the Nile map : Much more water on this map, which also comes with a new option to spend water, irrigation. Well thought out scoring mechanic, more players irrigating, more victory points distributed. Always a super tense game!
Barcelona + Passeig de Gracia (solo). Always nice to play Barcelona, I tried this time with the expansion and not sure I got hooked. These dice, which act as passers-by, allow us to score according to the number of times we have performed certain main actions. The basic game is already quite complete, offering us such a nice salad of points. I have to try the expansion again with several players.
THE MENTIONS
Black Forest, with this resource management with the wheels, wow really brilliant! I hadn't played Glass Road, so it's a discovery for me. The solo is also very good, no AI to manage. We only take care of making as many points as possible.
The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth, beautiful overhaul of the 7 Wonders Duel system, we can really feel the optimization and purification work. Very thematic, we loved it!
Castle Combo, really a good little card game, quick and effective, which I think we will take out often.
Forest Shuffle, another card game, more intense this one however, the point count is not easy, I have to try the application!
Creature Caravan, very nice discovery this game, beautiful illustrations, fun and gripping mechanics, we all play at the same time. To play again!
