A big fun month, with my participation as an animator at the kiosk La Revanche au Games and toys fair in Quebec, which allowed me to discover several very interesting new products. It is also the massive arrival on our market of several games presented at Essen!
CRUSHS
Bomb Busters : The favorite of the month: a game, yes, quite simple but very effective, which can be demanding and remains very appreciated by all. A phrase often comes up at the end of the game: "Shall we play another game?"
Kutna Hora : Wow, what a great market manipulation game! Even though it feels like you're repeating the same sequence (reserving land, buying buildings, and building), timing the right action when resource values are dynamic provides an interesting challenge. The components are beautiful, I love it!
The White Castle : Only 9 actions during the game, but you have to think carefully, because there are also some killer combos in this magnificent game!
Abyss with all its expansions: The new mini-expansion, The 10 Banished Lords of Profundis, comes to wreak havoc on loot-type locations. It's a classic in our family, we must exceed 30 games with the cousins.
THE MENTIONS
7 Wonders Architects : a nice surprise! I was expecting a lighter 7 Wonders, it is indeed the case, but oh how much fun it is! It too, we play one game after another!
Moving Wild : another well thought out game from Oink Games, a good puzzle that you can slowly unravel as the game progresses.
Ratjack : Black Jack version 2024, really nice, we think a little more than its big brother, with a few little bastard moves!
Planta Nubo : magnificent components, pretty crazy theme! In the end, a very good game, quite difficult, several small points of rules easy to forget on the other hand.
