Thebes This game plunges us into the Bronze Age, into the heart of the Greek tragedy of Thebes. In this 90-150 minute game for 1 to 4 players, we will lead a noble family and must develop the city, gain the favor of the gods, and defend the seven gates against the enemy army. Its core mechanic uses dice that are not rolled; they improve throughout the game based on our choices. Between building construction, tight economic management, and training your soldiers, Thebai promises to be a rich and well-designed game.

Remarks
A game that was on my list at watch in Essen and the initial feedback seems very positive. I like this author, who has already written several excellent titles. I'm curious to see what he has in store for us this time with this game! While you wait for my review, let's open the box 😉
