Notes on AI

How is AI used on this site? ?

We often hear the same fear: "AI will replace us." This concern is understandable, but it rests on a premise that is worth questioning. AI doesn't really think (but almost), it predicts, calculates, and generatesIts power stems precisely from what we add to it: judgment, context, values, and a sense of responsibility. And, unsurprisingly, artificial intelligence is now ubiquitous in 2026. It is taking up more and more space, to the point where it is becoming impossible to ignore.

I work in IT, and AI is at the heart of my daily work; I explore it in all its forms, study it, configure it, optimize it, present it, and promote its best practices to my clients. I use AI as an assistant in this blog. But please note that I wrote absolutely all the content of my articles; I take the time to jot down what goes through my mind, when reading the rules, during test games, but also and especially right after a game session, before putting everything together.

CONTEXT OF AI USE
I primarily use AI for:
1) Research games, authors, publishers, and gaming events
2) correct the grammar and structure of my texts
3) refine/validate certain thoughts
4) Generate certain images. I'm not a graphic designer, nor do I have the budget to hire an artist. However, on this point, I tend to limit its use.
5) help me in solving technical problems
6) Manage the theme layout with WordPress, making a few minor code modifications

Have no fear: you are not reading the text of an AI, you are reading the text of a human being passionate about games, who loves them and wants to share their experiences, in the most authentic way possible with you.

AI isn't perfect and always requires verification. But it's a fantastic tool if you're the one using it. It doesn't replace you; it simply helps you become even better and more efficient in your field.

For those of you who are curious, here are a few more technical details about the AI tools I use. I navigate AI using agents, I work with Visual Studio Code and Copilot, but I'm currently getting to grips with... Cursor for a possible migration. I'm also exploring the current global phenomenon: Openclaw. Recall as a Chrome extension to summarize long texts and Google's NotebookLM to query multiple documents, including rules of course.

I use different LLMs (Large Language Models), online: Claude to correct my texts (he does it really well without changing the meaning of my sentences), but also to do research. ChatGPT I use Chatgpt to rework the text structure, validate certain rules, and answer my questions about games in general. I like it because it's very fast and almost always functional. Gemini for sentence structure but also for image generation.
Locally, I regularly explore new ones, but lately I've been focusing mainly on Qwen (Alibaba), DeepSeek and Granite (IBM).
